Delivery times start from the day your order is shipped and are to be used as a guide only. Kindly note that delivery during peak periods and to rural areas may result in longer delivery times.
Orders placed before 12PM (CEST) will be shipped the same day. During the sale period, the large amount of order can result in longer delivery times. We may need to confirm your bank details with your card issuer before shipping your order. We will do our best to keep any delays to an absolute minimum.
Our courier, DHL, delivers from Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM, except on bank and public holidays. GHORĒE is not liable for any delays caused by customs clearance, holidays, weather conditions, and other circumstances outside of our control.
DHL offers flexible delivery options to ensure the delivery process is smooth using DHL On Demand Delivery (ODD). You can decide how, when and where delivery takes place. Once your order is handed over to DHL, they will contact you via SMS and/or email to let you know the date that delivery is expected to take place. If ODD is available in your location, the message will contain a link to the ODD system, easily available via smartphone, PC or tablet.
With DHL On Demand Delivery (ODD), you can choose to:
• Schedule the delivery date: If you will not be available on the estimated delivery date, you can choose an alternative date that suits you.
• Vacation on Hold: DHL will keep your parcel while you’re on vacation. Items can be held for up to 30 days.
• Collect from a nearby DHL Service Point: If you are not at home, you can collect your delivery from your nearest DHL service point. DHL will let you know when your parcel is ready for collection and how long you have to collect it. After the collection timeframe, if the parcel has not been collected, it will be sent back to the DHL depot. To collect your parcel from a DHL Service Point, you will need to show a form of photographic ID (e.g., passport or driving license) and your email/SMS notification from DHL.
• DHL Locker: DHL will email or text you a unique code once your parcel has been delivered. Simply enter the code into the machine display to retrieve your parcel.
• Signature release: This allows you to remove the signature requirement. However, by doing so GHORĒE and DHL cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage that may occur once the package has been delivered.
• Leave with a neighbor, reception, or security: Gives DHL permission to deliver the shipment to neighbors, reception, or security. However, by doing so, GHORĒE and DHL cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage that may occur once the package has been delivered.
• Alternate address: Redirect your shipment to a different address
To access these options, simply click the “Manage your delivery” link sent with the tracking and order confirmation email you receive once your order is shipped.
Please note that depending on where you are located, some options may not be available to you.
FIRST TIME ORDER POLICY
For your security, first-time orders can only be delivered to the cardholder’s billing address. Please check the billing address is correct and matches the address on your card statement, and that you write the cardholder’s name as it appears on the card, to avoid delays.
Please ensure that the contact details, email, and telephone number you have entered are correct in case we need to contact you.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and General Delivery.
ORDER TRACKING
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from the courier with your tracking number. To monitor your delivery, simply visit the DHL website and enter the AWB number (10-digit number).
DUTIES AND TAXES
We try our best to ensure to include all applicable taxes and duties in the final price, although unfortunately, this is not always possible for everyone.
VAT is applied locally to all ordres shipped to the EU.
For all ordres outside of the EU, import duties and taxes are not included in the final product price and shall be borne by the client, these are sole responsability of the client and will not be reimbursed by GHORĒE. We cannot be held responsible for any action and/or costs and/or taxes and/or delays due to customs services.
Because we don’t have visibility of customs costs, we recommend contacting your local customs service before placing an order to get an estimation on import duties you’ll have to pay.
INSURANCE
Your purchased Item(s) are insured against theft and accidental damage during transit and until delivery to the specified delivery address. Once the package is delivered, the responsibility is transferred to you and we are therefore no longer responsible for the item(s). If you have specified another person as receiver of your purchase, such as for a gift order, you accept their signature as proof of delivery and fulfilment by GHORĒE.
In the unlikely event that your package arrives damaged, we recommend you refuse the parcel or that you open it in the presence of the courier to check if the Item(s) inside are damaged. If you find items to be damaged, simply refuse delivery. If you accept the package anyway, add a note, when signing the proof of delivery, that you are accepting a damaged parcel. Take pictures of the box before opening it and of the item(s) inside. You must notify us by email, including pictures and details, at info@ghoree.com, within 24 hours of delivery.
